 A Nobel Laureate's Vision

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is led forward by thee Into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

Rabindranath Tagore [1861-1941] was the greatest writer in modern Indian literature. A Indian poet, novelist, educator, Nobel Laureate for Literature [1913].

                         Welcome to our website !!!

Together with my students, I am part of the Computational Electronics and Nanoscience research Lab. Our
research group is working on the interface between Electronic Engineering and Material Science. Our group focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and development of micro and nanoscale devices for resistive memory, neuromorphic computing, sensor applications. We are also interested in modeling and simulation of electronic devices for energy conversion and storage applications.
We are exploring the growth and electronic properties of functional materials and thin films. Our workforce consists of young and dynamic graduate and undergraduate students. Our research is supported by MHRD, RUSA, DST-SERB and Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
Through our research, we are trying to address some of the issues in frontiers areas of nanoelectronics such development of high-performance resistive memory cell using solution processable techniques, mimicking the basic functionality of biological synapse and sensing using memristive switching principle. The detailed work can be found on the research publication tab.
